The location was good, with Kualao Restaurant nearby, where we could eat. The bed was large enough to us. Welcome base for your vacations in Vientiane.

First of all, I was picked up at the airport, which is appreciable. My bedroom was very comfortable and clean and free wifi. The breakfast was good : a buffet (asian and continental) but only one cup of real coffee ! Nescafe was free. The staff is nice, the manager seems to be around all the time, he speaks English, and happy to help ! The hotel is well located, not too far from the Mekong River and famous sites (walking distance).

The hotel was always very clean, as were the rooms. The big bed was very comfortable! Good lcd tv so we could watch our own movies from laptop.
Although we booked a non-smoking room, our room stank of smoke. There were no smoking stickers inside the room so I guess a guest ignored it. Also the hotel staff seemed very shy/quiet so service was average. Otherwise good all round hotel.

It's good value for money, especially for Lao standards! The hotel staff wasn't speaking english excellent, but we did understand eachother. The room was clean and the shower was good. Even the bed was comfortable, but the breakfast isn't that good anyway. But if you walk 2 minutes to the centre square, there's the scandinavian bakkery wich service excellent baquettes and croissants as well. There's also free Wifi available. If you're looking for a pleasant place to stay in Vientiane this is the right place to be!
The staff didn't speak english well, but if you make short sentences they understand what you mean.

The staff (minus one lady receptionist) were outstanding. Welcoming, kind, friendly and efficient, I couldn't ask for much more. The hotel itself is very well furnished, the rooms are very well laid out (I like the idea of a sink in the room rather than the bathroom). Furnishings are well thought out, the beds are great as is the decoration in the hotel lobby area. Breakfast is good and whatever we needed the staff were willing to help. We left happy!
One member of staff was unnecessarily nosey and decided to come into our rooms while it was being cleaned and speak about clothing and ask a little too much about our life in the uk. We felt quite uncomfortable with this. Aside from this, there was the building work next door which did not stop and was very loud. This though, is not the fault of the hotel, though as I write this (sat in the lobby), I can see a patch of wall where plaster has been knocked off from the work outside and has exposed brick!

I went to the closet food place that seemed busy. The Pizza company, after the food there both me and boyfriend were sick and that meant we stayed for only 1night.
There was a gecko in the room that entering through a hole behind the the air conditioning. We had half a roll of toilet roll in the bathroom. The room cleanliest was of a high standard for Asia. However we stayed in the 1st room on the 1st floor, which meant being work at 6.30am with the kitchen staff and the window view was of a building suite.

Can't find to much that we didn't like about the hotel, it was super clean, the rooms were comfortable and spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast although of limited chioce was constantly being top up, so it was always fresh. After spending years travelling around S E Asia it is always refreshing to find a hotel that lives up to everything you see on the internet.
The only downside could be the building work in the plot next door, but as we were up early, and didn't go to Laos to spend the day sitting in our room, it wasn't a problem for us
